These are the 10 balconies whose structures will be inspected on Friday December 6
at 250 Whitmore St: units 216/316 & 217/317
at 288 Whitmore St: Units 226/326 & 227/327
at 2005 Pleasant Valley Ave: Units 201&301
The 2 inspectors, clearly identified by bright green vests, will be using ladders to access these 10 balconies from the outside. They will not enter through the units. They will be quickly taking small samples of the balcony structure.
If you have any questions, please contact the Manager.

EBMUD informed us that they will be testing our water meters this Tuesday Oct. 29th. Therefore, from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, we will have the water shut off in 288 Whitmore St. only. The other two buildings will have water service. If you must use a bathroom facility during this time, the Men’s Sauna/Dressing Room will be available for both genders, obviously one at a time and only during the water shutoff.
Manager
Dear 288 Whitmore St residents,
Two pairs of thieves recently opened our mailboxes with a USPS Master Key, which they stole from a Mail Carrier. Fortunately, this time, they were interrupted and only had time to steal from 2 individual mailboxes. We cannot tell which boxes, other than to say they were in the first bank, closest to the lobby door. With at least 2 pairs of people possessing a Master Key, our best defense is to collect our mail every day.
NOTICE
ON FRIDAY FEB. 9TH FROM 10:00am TO 11:30am, WE WILL HAVE OUR ANNUAL FIRE ALARM TEST.
THE FIRE ALARM WILL SOUND FOR APPROXIMATELY 1 SECOND, FOLLOWED PERHAPS 1 MINUTE LATER BY ANOTHER 1 SECOND ALARM SOUND. ALL LOCATIONS IN THE BUILDING MUST BE TESTED, SO THIS WILL PROBABLY TAKE MORE THAN 30 MINUTES, PERHAPS UP TO AN HOUR WHEREIN THE ALARM WILL SOUND ONCE EVERY MINUTE OR SO.

Elevator is repaired and back in service.
Residents of 288 Whitmore St
I’m happy to announce that a short time ago, Star’s troubleshooting team called to inform me that the elevator is fixed, and they have returned it to normal service. The cause was a burned-out wire in the area above the elevator cab.
Sincerely, Manager
