Fire Alarm Testing Friday March 7 from 9:30AM to 3PM
Dear Residents,
We will have our FIRE ALARM tested tomorrow, Friday March 7th. This test will include all 3 buildings and will take from 9:30am until approx. 3pm, possibly a little later. You will hear the fire alarm sound for about 1 second, about 1 time per minute, until the test is completed, perhaps 15-25 minutes. If this will cause difficulty for residents and/or pets, please take whatever precautions are best. We must have the alarm tested each year.
Sincerely, Manager
The HOA Manager will be on vacation until Tuesday March 4
If you have a Maintenance Emergency, please call the HOA’s Maintenance Emergency Phone # 510-908-3218.
Bulky Item Pickup Information
A Bulky Item Pickup can be arranged by the Manager or directly with Waste Management. Bulky Item Pickups will only be done on Wednesdays and MUST BE REQUESTED AT LEAST 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE.
Bulky items can NOT be stored in the HOA Common Areas or on the sidewalk for several days awaiting a pickup.
If you have questions or if you wish to arrange for a Pickup, please call the HOA office. (Please postpone calling the office until Tuesday March 4 because the Manager is on vacation this week).
Abandoned Bicycles Removal Notice
BICYCLES: We have many abandoned bicycles in the bicycle rack in each building. If you have a bicycle in a rack, please place a small label on it to show it is not abandoned. We will remove abandoned bicycles during the next week or two.
Pool closed Monday and Tuesday 3-4-24 and 3-5-24
On Monday March 4th, LaBella’s Pool will fix the leaking pipe in the Pool area. This will require closing the Pool Monday and Tuesday. We appreciate your understanding, since this closure is for a highly needed purpose.
Thank you,
Manager
Security Reminders
Dear Residents,
During the Holidays, please be extra careful regarding security. In one of our buildings, we recently had a package thief call a resident from the Lobby Directory claiming to be a delivery person. Do not buzz anyone in the building if that person is not your guest. Do not allow anyone to enter the building while you are entering or exiting. If someone forces his/her way in, notify the Office and/or call OPD, as it appears appropriate, without confronting the person and putting yourself in danger.
While driving into or leaving the garage, wait for the gate to close. Do not “piggyback” or “tailgate” another resident while entering the garage. If someone drives into the garage behind you as you enter, do not put yourself in danger by confronting him/her/them. Notify the Office and/or call OPD, as appropriate. Do not leave your garage gate opener in your car.
Happy (and safe) New Year,
Manager and Board of Directors
