Pour laundry detergent directly into the washer not into the liquid detergent trays

The office is still receiving occasional reports of powder detergent being placed in the washing machine trays.  DO NOT DO THIS.  If it is placed in the trays, it usually does not reach the washing machine and results in a hard paste which is very difficult to remove from the tray.  Your clothes are not washed, and it prevents the machine from being used until the hard paste remnant can be removed.

Powder detergent should only be placed directly into the washing machines.

Tide Pods must NOT be placed into the dispenser trays

During the last week, we have experienced 2 washers being clogged because someone placed a detergent pod (soap pod) into the sectional tray which contains soap, bleach, and fabric softener.  Soap pods should always be placed directly into the washing machine, NOT in the sectional tray.  This clogging caused a leak from the machines onto the floor, which is a “slip and fall” hazard, not to mention unpleasant to walk through water.  Manager
