PG&E Planned Power Outages on Monday August 3

Rockridge Manor Residents

  We have seen the A-Frame Notices on Whitmore St. saying “No Parking” on Monday.  This does sound like the same format as the last outage.  Without information from PG&E, we can only guess that Whitmore St. will be open to traffic, allowing us to drive in and out, but no parking will be available.  PG&E will install generators to power our buildings while the work is done.  Generator installation is the cause of the morning outage, while generator disconnection is the cause of the evening outage.

Suggestions to prepare for the outage are consider turning off circuit breakers, computers, etc., all appliances which could be damaged by the power surge when electricity is restored.  If your area of the building is dark, use your cell phone flashlight to see and walk.  Refrigerators and freezers should be fine for the period of the outage.

Laundry Machines usage price increase

Dear Residents,

We would like to inform you that effective June 15, 2026, there will be a price increase for the Community Laundry machines.

The last increase was August 2018.  This increase is necessary due to rising operating and maintenance costs including utilities, service repairs, and replacement plans.

New pricing will be as follows:

  • Washers:  $2.00 per wash;
  • Dryers:      $0.25 per 6 minutes dry time.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to maintain the quality of our community amenities.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the HOA Manager.

Thank you,

Rockridge Manor HOA Board

residents using the pool or spa after the hours listed below

Glass bottles (See sign posted in the Pool area).

Excessive noise made by children in the Pool/Spa.

The Rules exist to maximize use and enjoyment of the premises and facilities.  Please keep your noise at moderate levels, since we have many Units within hearing distance of the Pool and the residents can be disturbed by loud noises, such as those listed above.
