Armstrong Roofing will be on our roof Wednesday October 4 to perform “checklist” items only. This will not involve any spraying or application of finish coats, since these were both completed last week. This will be small things such as screens on roof drains and redirecting one roof drain. They expect to use no blower, as in for cleaning. Therefore, we should have little or no debris and a low level of noise.
Working with EBMUD and our Pool Service Company, we have brought the chlorine and pH within specifications, and we believe our plan will keep them so. The Pool and Jacuzzi are both open.
Armstrong Roofing plans to finish the roofing work on 2005 Pleasant Valley on Wednesday, October 4, with no work between now and then.
On Friday afternoon, a young woman (who was seen a few days ago trying to camp on our property) attempted to enter 288 Whitmore on the pretext she was meeting a realtor to be shown an apartment.
The realtor was called, and he stated he did not have an appointment with her and wasn’t in the building.
It is a security violation subject to a $500 fine to allow a person to enter who is not your guest.
To avoid a security violation fine:
1) do NOT confront the intruder
2) call 911 to report the intruder.
3) after calling 911, call the HOA’s office to report the intruder. If it’s after hours, residents should leave a message on the office’s answering machine with the time, date and description of the intruder.
We have not received enough Ballots regarding HOA Annexation of the Pool Land to have a valid vote result. Therefore, the Board of Directors has postponed tonight’s Ballot Counting Meeting until Tuesday October 17th at 6:00pm. The new voting deadline is Tuesday October 17th at 5:00pm.
